Maj Gen Anuj Mathur, VSM an alumnus of the National Defence Academy Khadakwasla, was commissioned into 10th Battalion of The Jammu and Kashmir Rifles Regiment. The General Officer has held variety of sensitive and important instructional, staff and command appointments in all types of terrains and operational environments, from glaciated areas to our island territories. He commanded his unit in the Kashmir Valley during Operation Parakram with elan. He also commanded a Brigade, Regimental Training Centre, a Sub-Area and an Area. He is actively involved in spreading awareness concerning, Geo-Politics, National Security, Kashmir and China issue through variety of means. He is a recipient of Prestigious National Level Atal Shaurya Shikhar Samman.
